Question

When referencing a book with more than six authors in an APA reference list, how should the authors be listed?
Options
A Not list any other names after the sixth author but write et al in their place
Correct Answer
B Provide the name of the first three authors
C Write the names of the first six authors
D List all the authors
Correct Answer

Option A is the correct answer.

Detailed Explanation

The APA style guideline for works with more than six authors requires listing the first six authors' names, followed by an ellipsis and then the last author's name. However, if there are more than six, list the first six, then an ellipsis, then the final author's name.

Hint

APA has specific rules to keep reference lists concise for works with many authors.
